When you sign in with Apple, we receive and store:

• Your name (provided by Apple on first sign-in)
• Your email address (your real address or an Apple-relay address, depending on your choice)
• Your Apple user identifier — a stable, app-specific ID used to recognise your account

We also store the expense and group data you create within the app.

Purpose

We use this data solely to:

• Create and maintain your Splitsies account
• Display your name to members of groups you belong to
• Track shared expenses and settlements on your behalf

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to any third parties. Your data is stored on our own servers and is not shared with external services.

Data retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. We do not retain data after account deletion.

Account deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@splitsies.dev. We will delete your account within 7 days and confirm by email.
